Welcome in Kaş

 

Kas is situated at the lycic coast, one of the most beautiful and largest in variety regions of Turkey. This picturesque place is built on the ruins of the antique city of Antiphellus and nestle up the inclination of a wide bay, surrounded by the Taurus- mountains. From Kas you can see the most  easternly point of Greek: the island Megisti.

The narrow  lanes, where turkish and greek culture is united, the by palm trees surrounded harbour and the exotic plants make the charm of this small village. Kas is an ecxellent starting point for numerous excursions. The village Kas developed within a few years from a secret tip to a popular holiday place for inividual travellers, far-off from mass- tourism.

Antiphellus - witnesses of the ancient world made of stone: In the centre of Kas, at the end of the main street stands a big sarcophagus from the 4th century B.C. On the long stretched out peninsula are situated the ruins of the lycian city Antiphellus and the hellenic theatre with a beautiful sea- view.
